Clinical Director – Contract Role @ Assist America Inc
Assist America is currently seeking a contracted Clinical Director to provide on-call services and guidance to our members.
Core Job Functions Include:
Doctor of Medicine or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine licensed in New Jersey.
On-call, including after hours, for guidance for the medical services provided by Assist America.
The Clinical Director provides Assist America members with medical monitoring and/or consultative services at the request of an Assist America employee. The Clinical Director most commonly interacts with the Assist America staff, the Transport Director and the patient’s local treating team – and may interact with other entities as needed. Since the service provided to Assist America clients is available 24-hours a day, 7-days a week, the Clinical Director must be accessible at any time for consultation. Rapid response to contacts by the Assist America staff to the Clinical Director is imperative.
The Clinical Director will be expected to participate in twice-daily rounds via phone. Every other day frequency is common, but may be more frequent depending on need.
Clinical Director obtains and maintains insurance, including medical malpractice, to support and cover his decisions on behalf of Assist America.
The Clinical Director receives payment for services on a monthly basis, for services rendered within the confines of the previous month. Payment no later than 30-days after the end date of the previous month.
The Clinical Director produces an invoice monthly to Assist America for services rendered.
This is considered a 1099 contract position
